Articulated Flange with Spigot for Insertion into 25x25x1.5mm Square Tubes
The articulated flange with spigot is a flexible extension of the ALUSTECK® plug-in system and is ideal for constructions where square tubes are not to be mounted rigidly at a 90° angle, but at an individual angle. Thanks to the integrated joint, the attached profile can be flexibly aligned and then screwed to another profile at any desired position.
This makes it particularly easy to implement angled struts, roof solutions, sloping roof shelves, cross braces for stabilization and many other special constructions. The articulated flange combines the simple plug-in assembly of the 25x25mm aluminum square tube system with significantly higher flexibility in aligning the profiles.
- For insertion into 25x25mm square tubes with 1.5mm wall thickness
- With integrated joint for flexible angle connections
- Ideal for angled struts, roof constructions and cross braces
- Suitable for mounting on profiles, longitudinal struts or in frame corners
- Enables subsequent reinforcement of existing constructions
- Suitable for individual constructions indoors and outdoors
Suitable for 25x25mm square tubes with 1.5mm wall thickness.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Flexible Angle Connection for Angled Struts and Individual Constructions
With the articulated flange, struts can be flexibly attached to an existing ALUSTECK® construction. Unlike classic connectors, you are not bound to fixed angles or fixed connection points. The profile is pushed onto the spigot of the articulated flange and can be aligned to fit the construction using the joint.
The great advantage: struts can be placed exactly where they are needed. This allows constructions to be stabilized, roof pitches to be compensated for, or angled superstructures to be realized without having to change the entire frame construction.
Especially for large frames, long profile sections or constructions with a roof pitch, the articulated flange offers a practical way to create additional stability and flexibility.
Typical Applications of the Articulated Flange
The articulated flange with spigot is particularly well suited for:
- Roof constructions with a slope
- Lean-to roofs made of aluminum square tubes
- Canopies for garden, terrace or balcony
- Sloping roof shelves
- Shelf constructions under sloping roofs
- Sloping shelf levels and special shelves
- Cross braces for stabilization
- Diagonal struts in frame constructions
3 Variants for Different Mounting Situations
The articulated flange is available in different versions so that it can be used to suit the respective construction. Depending on the design, the flange can be attached to a corner, on a longitudinal strut or generally on a profile.
1. Articulated Flange for the Corner of Constructions
This variant is ideal if an angled strut is to be attached directly to a frame corner or to a corner area of the construction. For example, sloping roofs, diagonal braces or angled superstructures can be realized directly from the corner.
Typical applications:
- Roof superstructures at frame corners
- Lean-to roof constructions
- Angled corner braces
- Greenhouse roofs
- Shelves under sloping roofs
- Carport and terrace constructions
- Stabilizing diagonal struts in corner areas
2. Articulated Flange for Screwing onto Longitudinal Struts
This version is particularly well suited for mounting cross braces or angled braces on an existing longitudinal strut. This allows additional struts to be flexibly positioned within a frame construction.
Typical applications:
- Subsequent cross braces
- Diagonal struts for stabilization
- Shelf dividers
- Reinforcements for long profiles
- Supports for sloping shelves
- Additional attachment points for frame constructions
- Machine frames, protective frames and cabin construction
3. Articulated Flange for General Mounting on a Profile
This variant is particularly flexible and can be screwed onto a profile at a suitable point. It is suitable for individual special solutions where a strut is to be freely positioned and aligned at a specific angle.
Typical applications:
- Free angle connections
- Individual special constructions
- Flexible extensions of existing systems
- Angled brackets and support struts
- DIY and maker projects
- Furniture and design constructions
- Terrace, balcony and garden solutions
More Stability Through Additional Cross and Diagonal Struts
The articulated flange is particularly helpful when existing constructions need to be additionally stabilized. By mounting struts at an angle, frames can be stiffened and movements reduced. Especially for tall, wide or long constructions, additional cross braces can significantly improve overall stability.
Since the articulated flange can be screwed directly onto a profile, braces can also be integrated subsequently. This is particularly practical if a construction is to be extended, reinforced or adapted to new requirements later.
Ideal for Roof Solutions and Sloping Roof Shelves
A great advantage of the articulated flange is the flexible angle adjustment. This makes the connector very suitable for constructions with an incline, for example for small canopies, lean-to roofs, shelves under sloping roofs or sloping storage surfaces.
Instead of laboriously adapting tubes or using special connectors, the profile can be aligned via the joint to match the desired roof pitch or slope. This creates flexible solutions for the garden, workshop, storage, terrace, balcony or living area.
Advantages of the Articulated Flange with Spigot
- Flexible alignment due to integrated joint
- Ideal for angled constructions and variable angles
- Perfect for roof solutions, sloping roofs and cross braces
- Mounting possible at any suitable profile position
- Enables subsequent extensions and reinforcements
- No rigid connection to classic plug-in connector structures
- More design freedom when building individual constructions
- Easy combination with 25x25mm aluminum square tubes
- Suitable for private, commercial and industrial applications
