1. Step: Build your own aquarium rack: Planning
When planning with ALUSTECK®, you must always subtract the width of the connecting elements used on one axis from the total dimension for cutting the aluminum profiles. This means that for a 1,000 mm wide frame, the following cut profile length is required: 1,000 mm – 25 mm – 25 mm=950 mm. When determining the cut length for height and depth, proceed in the same way.

In combination with the special plug-in connectors for easy joining of the profiles, you will quickly receive a customized kit. Please always use connectors with a steel core for constructions that must withstand a high load capacity.
Assembling the aquarium shelf frame is easy
The precisely fitting and high-quality ALUSTECK® system, thanks to a large selection of aluminum profile cross-sections, the offered cutting service, and the different corner connector variants, enables a multitude of possibilities for stable custom-made cages and animal enclosures. With our system, you can also, for example, very easily build a terrarium yourself or build a dog crate yourself. The specially developed ALUSTECK® plug-in connectors are firmly hammered into the aluminum square tubes with a plastic hammer for the construction of this aquarium shelf.
