Are you looking for a coffee table that fits exactly in front of your sofa – not three centimetres too wide and not in the same old standard height? With the ALUSTECK® online configurator you set width, height and depth to the millimetre and also define the height of the open shelf. You receive a ready-cut kit of 25 mm aluminium profiles and connectors – the load-bearing frame of your table with three levels: the tabletop on top, an open shelf in the middle and, if you wish, a bottom level below. The panel material is not included – so you stay completely free in wood type, colour and thickness.

A table that fits your room – not the other way round

A ready-made coffee table is a compromise: sometimes too bulky for a small flat, sometimes lost in front of a large corner sofa. Because you enter every dimension freely, the table follows your sofa and your room. Everything from a narrow side-table height to a deep lounge table is possible – width and depth from 100 to 1500 mm, height from 275 to 1000 mm.

An open shelf that keeps within reach what otherwise lies around

Between tabletop and floor sits a second level – the intermediate shelf. Remote control, magazines, a few books or a decorative bowl find their place here without taking up the table surface. You specify the height of this shelf yourself: flat for magazines, high enough for baskets or boxes. If you want extra storage right at the bottom, choose the option “with support for a bottom panel” – then the lower level carries a board as well.

Industrial look in aluminium and wood

The slim aluminium frame and a panel of your choice create the clear, modern look known from small-workshop furniture. The frame comes in three finishes – anodised, black or bare. To this you add the panels that suit your interior: light oak for a Scandinavian feel, dark wood or a grey panel for the industrial style, glass or stone if it should look refined.

How the panels rest on the frame

The two depth profiles carry an inward-facing ledge (support lip) – at the top for the tabletop, in the middle for the intermediate shelf and, if selected, at the bottom for the bottom panel. The panels therefore rest cleanly and do not slip. The tabletop is additionally screwed to the frame from below: drill six holes into the ledge of the upper profiles and pull the panel tight with six flange-head screws. The configurator shows the exact cutting dimensions of all panels straight away and encloses them with your order.

How the configurator works

1. Enter dimensions: width (A), height (B) and depth (C) plus the height of the upper shelf (D).
2. Choose the equipment: with or without support for an additional bottom panel, plus the finish of the frame.
3. Cut the panels yourself: the cutting dimensions for tabletop, intermediate shelf and bottom panel come automatically with your order – simply have them cut at a DIY store or online.

Whether as a plain side table, a generous lounge table with a shelf or a sideboard substitute in the living room – the made-to-measure coffee table fits exactly where standard sizes fail. Because you assemble and clad the kit yourself, you stay free in material and appearance – and can rebuild the table later instead of replacing it.

Scope of delivery:

✔ All required aluminium profiles, cut to your dimensions, plus all corner and node connectors. The kit is not delivered assembled. Assembly instructions tailored to your configuration are made available online in advance.

❌ Not included: the panel material (tabletop, intermediate shelf, bottom panel) and the screws for fixing the tabletop.

Note on the panels:

The table is delivered as an aluminium frame. You supply the panels yourself – so you freely choose wood type, colour and thickness. The tabletop rests on top of the frame (recommended approx. 40 mm thick), intermediate shelf and bottom panel rest on the inner ledges (recommended approx. 20 mm). The configurator calculates all cutting dimensions for you under “Panel dimensions”.
