A terrarium with 2 tiers made to measure: two full terrariums stand one above the other in a single construction and share the footprint of one. The double terrarium suits every situation where animals have to be kept apart or where two habitats are to be created side by side – for tortoises, bearded dragons, ball pythons, geckos or amphibians. You furnish each of the two tiers separately, and the stable aluminium construction carries both permanently and safely.
You specify all six height sections yourself: at the bottom and at the top the front section below and above the panes, and in between the pane section in which the sliding doors run. That way you decide separately for each tier how much substrate fits in and how tall the setup may be – to the millimetre, without a fixed grid.
Our high-quality aluminium profiles are specially designed for use with 16 mm thick wood or plastic panels as well as 5 mm thick glass or plastic panes. Thanks to the modular design of the ALUSTECK® system, two terrariums can be stacked to save space without losing stability. The well-thought-out plug-in system lets you assemble your double terrarium quickly and easily.
Technical cabinet between the tiers
On request a technical cabinet with a clear height of 100 to 200 mm moves in between the two tiers. Everything that otherwise hangs visibly on the terrarium disappears inside it: controllers, ballasts, timers, foggers, pumps and hoses. The section is clad all round, at the front two plastic sliding doors run in their rails – so you can reach the equipment at any time without opening a terrarium. Without this option the two tiers sit directly on top of each other.
