By using the special ALUSTECK® bolt connection system, consisting of a countersunk screw and a countersunk round nut, you can connect the aviary elements effortlessly and efficiently. With just a few simple steps, you achieve a reliable and permanent connection between the individual elements of your aviary.

It's that simple
After you have finished assembling all aviary elements using our guide on attaching aviary wire, these will now be connected to each other. The screwing together is done using special countersunk screws with countersunk round nuts, which significantly simplify the assembly for you.
When assembling, pay attention to the correct positions of the elements. There are two different mounting options here. Once for elements that are connected around a corner at a 90-degree angle (A) and once side-by-side (B) . For corner connections, the side elements are concealed internally.
Step-by-step explained - Connecting aviary elements
Step 1
Start with a corner connection (A) and position the first two aviary elements. The side element is on the inside here.
Step 2
Firmly fix the two frames together with a screw or clamp so that they can no longer slip.
Step 3
Mark the positions of the drill holes for the screw connection at a suitable spacing.
Step 4
If the aviary mesh and the screws get in your way while drilling, thanks to our system you can release the wire again at the relevant points so that you have enough room to work.
Step 5
Now pre-drill the holes with a 3 mm drill bit. Then drill with an 8 mm drill bit to obtain the correct hole size.
Step 6
In this step, countersink the drill holes so that the countersunk screws later finish flush with the surface.
Step 7
Now insert the countersunk screws into the holes.
Step 8
Tighten the screws firmly with a suitable Allen key.
Step 9
Next, you can now connect the elements that lie side by side (B) , by repeating the working steps of the corner-connection elements (A) as already described above.
Now you can connect all further aviary elements in the same way as described until the outer walls are completely assembled into a cage. After that, you only need to place the corresponding roof elements and screw them on. The assembly of your aviary is complete. Should you not yet have integrated any aviary accessories from our expansion modules, you can also install them later if needed!
