Load capacity up to 400kg per pipe connector pin
Connectors of the aluminum plug-in system in sizes 25 x 25 mm and 30 x 30 mm, and XD connectors of the 13.5 x 13.5 mm and 20 x 20 mm series (only with steel core), have a maximum compressive load capacity of 400 kg per horizontal tube connector pin under the following design conditions:
- Distance between the inner wall of the vertically running aluminum tubes of the frame and the outer edge of the load must not exceed the maximum distance of 10 mm to the inner profile surface.
- The contact surface of the load must be rigid, so that force is applied only at the corner points of the load (see figure assembly instructions load capacity).
- The load limit is purely static: no dynamic stress from movable loads.
- Total vertical load capacity for constructions in closed cuboids maximum 400 kg per connector. No connector may be loaded with more than 400 kg.
Please note: The use of accessories such as adjustable glides, threaded plugs, and leveling feet together with plug-in connector constructions can reduce the above-mentioned values for the entire assembly! Therefore, for high loads, always construct with closed cuboids whenever possible! Only in this way can a maximum load capacity be guaranteed.
