Possible Installation Variants
Every motorhome has a model-dependent rear garage structure that you must accept as given. Choose the variant that applies to you and consider it when planning the shelf for the rear garage of your caravan, camper, or motorhome.

The shelf for the rear garage of your motorhome, caravan or camper is equipped with an intelligent folding mechanism for installation. This allows you, by simply folding the supports in and out, to reduce the height of the rear shelf so that it fits through the opening of the rear garage of your motorhome, camper or caravan. Once the supports are upright again, you only need to tighten the screws of the joint connectors for fixation. Now you only need to insert the Euro containers matching the compartment sizes. The ridges of the profiles on the shelf boards serve here as a guide rail.

Step-by-step guide
Step 1: Adjust dimensions to your desired measurements
If you do not build the shelving system according to the dimensions from our construction plan, create a sketch. Enter all dimensions there and check your information. Please note that this shelf construction manual was designed based on Euro containers from the company Alutec. These are decisive for the grid dimension of the shelf for the rear garage.
If you use other Euro standard containers, the dimensions of the aluminum profiles for the construction must always be adapted to the box dimensions of other manufacturers. Now order all ALUSTECK® products for the construction in our online shop.
Step 2: Shelf (Compartment A)
Arrange the individual parts as shown and check the alignment of the webs as well as the position of the threads in the connectors. The threads should point downwards for the leveling feet. First, connect the base to the side.
Note:For bottom compartment (A), use `connectors with steel core and thread`.
Step 3: Shelf Middle Compartment and Upper Compartment (Compartment B + C)
Next, assemble the middle compartment (B) and upper compartment (C). Proceed in the same way as described in Step 2. The only difference here is the use of different connector elements.
For these compartments, please use the T-piece connectors with 1 outlet and cross connectors with 1 outlet. After assembly, you should have two identical compartments in front of you.
Step 4: Base Compartment (A) Attach Profiles
Now, vertically insert the designated aluminum profiles without a web from above onto all 6 connector pins of the base compartment (A) from work step 2 and firmly tap them in with a rubber mallet. Gluing the elements is no longer necessary from now on.

TIP: Glue the connectors
To ensure a strong bond between the aluminum profiles and corner connectors, we recommend using special cyanoacrylate-based superglue. Apply a thin layer of superglue to the connector pins and then promptly tap them firmly into place with a plastic hammer.
TIP: Remove plastic burr
After you have assembled the elements and firmly tapped them in with a plastic hammer, take a sharp utility knife and remove any plastic burr that may have formed on the connectors due to the tapping.
