A flat-roof mount allows the solar panels to be tilted and aligned optimally so that solar energy can be used efficiently. It also protects the roof from direct loads. Improved ventilation of the panels can additionally increase their efficiency.

FAQ: Build your own flat-roof solar panel mount
Yes, with the ALUSTECK® plug-in system you can configure the mount exactly to your desired dimensions and adapt it flexibly.
The mounts are made of durable aluminium profiles that are corrosion-resistant, stable and particularly light. Aluminium is also weatherproof and ideal for long-term use on the roof.
Yes, there are ballasted mounting systems that require no roof penetration. Alternatively, screw or adhesive systems can be used. This keeps the roof membrane intact, which is particularly advantageous on flat roofs with waterproofing membranes.
The optimal tilt angle for solar panels in Germany is between 30° and 40° in order to make the best use of solar energy. Too shallow an angle reduces efficiency, while too steep an angle can reduce output in summer.
The mount must safely bear snow loads, wind forces and the panels' own weight. A structural calculation should therefore be carried out before installation.
You can plan and order your individual mount directly via the ALUSTECK® online configurator. This gives you a tailor-made solution that fits your flat roof perfectly.
