This high-quality plastic connector made of polyamide (PA) with a steel core is a tube connector suitable for hammering into 20x20mm square tubes with a 1.5mm wall thickness. The corner connector allows for easy and quick connection of various square tube constructions.

Should the corner connector / tube connector be used under high loads, we recommend additional fixation by gluing, screwing, or riveting to the square tube. Use connectors with a steel core for constructions exposed to a load of over 10kg per connector. For calculating the maximum load capacity when building aluminum plug-in system constructions, the following example calculation can be made: 4 connectors with steel core=greater than 40kg load capacity. Connectors with a steel core have a maximum compressive load capacity of 400 kg per horizontal tube connector pin. Tube connectors with a thread are particularly suitable for adjustable feet or castors.
All two-part connectors with a steel core have an edge radius matching the aluminum profile. As this is a different product version, there may be slight production-related deviations from the variants without a steel core. The compatibility of the connectors within the 20x20x1.5mm plug-in system is not affected by this.
