The holes for fastening the outer frame in the window reveal are first measured and pre-drilled. On the upper and lower frame profile, we therefore mark the positions of the flange connectors. We have used a template for this purpose.
Now we assemble the outer frame. For this, we drive the right-angle connectors into the aluminum square tubes.
Note: Make sure that the aluminum square tubes with the drilled holes are opposite each other.

For the vertical bars that serve as grille bars, we now drive the special flange connectors into the profiles, at the top and bottom respectively. The previously drawn markings on the frame now help us with attaching the grille bars to the window grille frame.
We now firmly screw the bars, top and bottom, directly into the aluminum frame with self-tapping screws.
Note: We only attach the four outer struts (2 x left, 2 x right) to the window reveal after the window grille has been mounted.

Roughly secure the frame using clamps. Many window reveals are not perfectly right-angled; here, you should shim with washers or wedges.
Now the frame is screwed into the window reveal. In our case, into an aluminum frame on the building. The installation on masonry does not differ significantly here.
Note: The last four struts are inserted and screwed in right at the end.
